Description: Version 2.6 upgrade from version 2.x

New Features in 2.6:

  • Wake on LAN - Remote wake up clients enables you to remotely turn on client machines that are turned off.
  • USB Device Detection & Alarm - The plugging in and unplugging of USB devices, including USB storage devices, can be detected to help businesses secure sensitive data.

Feature Enhancements in 2.6

  • Configure your remote control settings to improve speed and performance over a WAN on limited bandwidth networks like broadband, DSL or Cable.
  • Create group inventory reports from 9 new report templates.

Other Changes for 2.6:

  • While RemoteScope works with Windows 95, it is no longer supported through our technical support department. Microsoft no longer supports the Windows ‘95 operating system and therefore, updates and patches are no longer available and cannot be supported.

  • Fixed the lock-up at "Generating Fixed Disk Interrupt"
  • Fixed the Hard Disk Controller Test problems found with some newer IDE/SATA controllers
  • Changed the way Micro-Scope determines ATAPI and Hard Disk devices
  • Updated Processor Cache Determination
  • Added Micro-Scope Text Mode option to the CD Boot Menu
